Free If Student Visits Campus

Visit waivers are typically intended to be used with paper applications. If you are planning on applying on-line and using a waiver, check with the college's admissions department first to make sure it will be honored.
  • Alfred University – pick up waiver when you visit
  • Asbury College – must arrange a visit or apply on-line
  • Bethel College (KS)
  • Brandeis University – waiver mailed to you after visiting campus
  • Brescia University – visit during Kentucky Private College Week
  • Briarwood College – must sign up for an open house or individual visit after submitting application
  • Central College – visit during Iowa Private College Week
  • Clarkson University
  • College of Wooster
  • DeVry University – attend open house
  • Eastern Mennonite University — visit during Virginia Private College Week
  • Goucher College – receive waiver at an Explore Goucher Day
  • Hampden-Sydney College
  • Hartwick College – interview on campus before certain dates
  • Huntingdon College – receive refund if visiting after applying on-line
  • Kent State University at Tuscarawas – must attend a Tour Tusc, Wednesday Visit, Information Night, or Blue-Gold Night event
  • Kentucky Wesleyan College – visit during Kentucky Private College Week
  • Limestone College
  • Marymount College (CA) – visit on Walk-In Application Day
  • Misericordia, College
  • Mount St. Mary’s College – visit on an Application Day; can submit application, but not required
  • Northwestern College (IA) – visit during Iowa Private College Week
  • Northwestern College (MN) – bring completed personal information and essay before certain dates
  • Polytechnic University
  • Purdue University – receive waiver on Women in Engineering Day
  • Rutgers University – receive code in mail after visiting
  • Simmons College – students who attend certain information sessions
  • St. Joseph's College (NY) (?)
  • Stephens College – must visit before applying
  • Thomas College – receive waiver card when visiting campus
  • Trinity University (D.C.) — must attend information session
  • University of Dallas – must schedule visit in advance
