Fanlistings 101

A fanlisting is exactly what it sounds like: a collective of people from across the world who share an interest in a similar subject. By joining a fanlisting, you are adding your name to a worldwide registry of people with a shared interest. Anyone who is a fan of the special relationships between students and teachers and who meets the basic requirements is encouraged to join. You can learn more about fanlistings by visiting TFL 101.

Why This Fanlisting?

My life has absolutely been changed by the mentoring relationships I have had with some of my teachers – in particular, two of my college professors. As someone who plans to be a teacher herself, I truly appreciate the special dynamic in these relationships and the completely transformational effect they can have on both lives involved. This fanlisting is here to celebrate those relationships and the uniquely positive power they have for those involved.

Fanlisting History

This fanlisting was opened on February 21, 2006 by Mary, under the same name it has now. In February 2009, I adopted the fanlisting and made it part of the Intensité collective. This is by far one of the most special adoptions I've had, so I'm really honored to welcome it as part of the collective. :) Thank you again to Mary for her generosity!
