Being Bold: The Women's Colleges Fanlisting
Women's colleges are those institutions of higher learning which either admit women exclusively or have historically catered their educational services towards women. They are most commonly found in the United States and throughout Asia, but are also in Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, and Sudan, amongst other places.

Some of the world's most prestigious colleges and universities, including Smith College, Mount Holyoke College, and Wellesley College in the United States and three of the constituent colleges of the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, are women's colleges.

Many of the world's most distinguished women are alumnae of women's colleges, including Madeleine L'Engle, Gloria Steinem, Sylvia Plath, Madeleine Albright, Emily Dickinson, Germaine Greer, Benazir Bhutto, and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

This fanlisting celebrates women's colleges and their tradition.
